Temporary crash barriers consist of a galvanised steel base unit, which is powder coated in high visibility safety colours. Into these are fitted top sections of either a low pedestrian barrier or a high fence. The temporary crash barrier is tested to current European Standards and is a cost effective solution to improving public safety. This system is applicable to low speed sectors where vehicles are restricted to 30mph. With its vehicle roll-on roll-off stability, when an errant vehicle drives on the base of the system, this helps to stabilise the barrier during impact.
