		Health & Safety At Rent-a-Fence, we are committed to achieving high standards of Health & Safety not only in relation to our own employees but also our working partners and members of the public. We have commissioned RCES (UK), Risk Control & Environmental Services to advise and assist us in implementing our H & S Policy. This includes our: Statement of Intent Rent-a-Fence recognises the importance of operating a positive safety culture and therefore requires all employees to co-operate with the employer and comply with the company’s health and safety rules. Employees are also encouraged to discuss health, safety and welfare matters with the management and bring to their attention any defects or short falls in health, safety and welfare arrangements. Method Statement - Sequence of Works Method statements are developed for specific tasks and are a description of how the work should be completed in a safe manner. The statement is a step by step guide which should include details of safe working practices, potential hazards and the control measures that should be employed to reduce the risks when carrying out the work and procedures that should be employed. The statement should not only be in sufficient detail for the personnelto carry out the task safely, but it should also be easily understood. Risk assessment of the task should be carried out before the method statement is produced so that significant hazards are identified and the control measures are included in the method statement. <<<back
